The Afrika Leadership Development Institute is a Non-Profit Organization. It is a Multi-University Initiative, and one of the core sources for innovative leadership sciences. A key focus is the empowerment of Civil Society to develop Socio-Economic factors with the aim of eradicating poverty. The institute has experience with various socio-economic development programmes within South Africa, and some of it’s neighbouring countries.
These are two logo concepts I put together for the brand. For both designs, I sought to emphasize pattern elements that all African countries make use of - bright color, and bold geometric patterns. For the second treatment: Swahili is one of the most widely spoken languages in Africa - the word “Cheza” translates to Play/Dance in English.
